Quadrant is now offering a seamless replacement for IBM Domino Fax for i.

Quadrant Software, a provider of electronic document distribution (EDD) solutions for the IBM i enterprise, has announced the immediate availability of a migration path for customers with IBM Domino Fax for i. FastFax for Domino i fully integrates into the Lotus Notes client for easy formatting and delivering of faxes, the company says.

IBM announced in January that Domino Fax for i has been withdrawn from the market and that support will end in April 2012. FastFax is the only solution that supports the SNDDOMFAX command and provides a truly integrated replacement of Domino Fax for i that requires no additional programming when implemented, the company says. Sending and receiving faxes with FastFax for Domino i is as easy as sending and receiving email, with no additional email software required to provide plug-and-play simplicity, according to Quadrant.
