HelpSystems announced the release of Robot HA 12.0, the fastest, easiest, most affordable way to establish high availability for IBM i environments.

Robot HA is built on the successful RSF-HA software from Bug Busters—a solution that hundreds of organizations rely on. Working in conjunction with the original architect, HelpSystems has enhanced its performance capacity and added enterprise-class features to accommodate organizations of any size and complexity.

“High availability has been at the top of IT wish lists for the last few years, but the complexities involved in getting started have prevented organizations from taking action,” said Chris Heim, CEO at HelpSystems. “We recognized the market need and wanted to make an easy and affordable solution available to help IT professionals.”

Robot HA allows IT teams to replicate their entire production environment or only parts of it to a backup server so business-critical information stays available during planned or unplanned outages.

“It was our top priority to make Robot HA implementation and administration fast and simple,” said Tim Woodfield, Software Development Manager at HelpSystems. “Many organizations install a high availability solution, but never implement it because it’s too big of a job. That’s not the case with Robot HA.”

Robot HA features a configuration template that allows for rapid implementation within hours, and it is backed by HelpSystems professional services and support.
