RJS Software Systems, a premier provider of document management lifecycle software, today announced the acquisition of NowData Corporation, a Twin Cities-based software development firm specializing in web-deployed relational database systems.

The acquisition allows RJS to grow its Managed Services business and strengthen its development team by adding seasoned programmers with decades of experience to an already veteran group.

“NowData has an excellent reputation for providing world-class customer service,” said RJS General Manager Michael Bergstrom. “They are a perfect complement to our existing development team and will allow us to expand our Managed Services business, and more quickly execute customer projects and software implementations.”

NowData has been in business since 1999. The firm specializes in designing and implementing custom data warehousing and database application solutions on multiple platforms. In addition, NowData provides business and systems integration services, and mobile application development. Key clients include the Mayo Foundation and Great Clips.

For the immediate future, NowData will retain its name but will move its employees to the RJS corporate headquarters in Burnsville, Minnesota.
