Q: A counter is used on the AS/400 to create a unique number for every job started on the system. It's a six-digit number, and our AS/400 is approaching 999999. What will happen when the first job after 999999 is submitted? Do I need to reinstall the licensed internal code? Are there any other problems that I may encounter?

A: When that first job after number 999999 is submitted, the counter will wrap around to 000000. Nothing bad happens, and you don't have to do anything special.
