The IBM AIX operating system and VIOS software have been updated to support new IBM Power Systems hardware:

• AIX 5.3 and AIX 7.1 service packs and VIOS 2.2.1.6 now support IBM Power 710, 720, 730, 740, 750, and 760.
• AIX 7.1 Technology Level 1 Service Pack 7, or later, and VIOS 2.2.1.6 have extended support for new adapters.
