WebSphere MQ V7.5 is enhanced to extend WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer Agent support for deployment on the IBM 4690 operating system retail store controller. It simplifies the deployment of Managed File Transfer Agents onto existing 4690 Store Controller hardware.

WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer Agents enable files to be transferred as MQ messages from endpoint connections into WebSphere MQ networks. Customers using this WebSphere MQ Managed File Transfer capability benefit from increased reliability of transfers, enhanced options for security, and the ability to make rapid use of the data in files, as file content can be created from a message, or consumed in a message by an application.
