If you are running OS/400 V2R1M1 or later, you probably know that much of the essential information from the RPG/400 reference manual is now available online. However, in order to access it, you must first start SEU and then press the HELP key while editing an RPG type source member. The cursor must be located within the source lines-anywhere else and you will get dumped into the main system help text index.

Here is another way. Enter the following command to access the RPG/400 reference manual online from any command line:

STRSCHIDX SCHIDX(QRPG/QHRG1)

You can enter one or more keywords to search. Press Enter without typing anything to see a list of all available topics.
